A new Thai restaurant opened on Milwaukee St. near Fairview Ave in Boise.

BoiseDev previously reported that 7 Thai Cafe filed permits to open where IOU Sushi formerly was. The plans came to fruition and the restaurant is now open.

The owners of 7 Thai Cafe used to own Pat’s Thai Kitchen, which was located in the Ram Plaza on Broadway Ave. for nearly 15 years. 7 Thai Cafe takes a minimalist approach to the old restaurant, in terms of ambience and menu, according to a news release.

The menu features traditional Thai dishes, including curries, noodle and rice dishes, soups, and some more unique dishes like Spaghetti Kee Mao.

7 Thai Cafe is open Monday through Saturday for lunch and dinner.

It joins a growing list of new Thai restaurants, including Maggie Thai Kitchen which opened across the street.
