DEARBORN, Mich. – A new Turkish restaurant has opened up in West Dearborn.

Turkish Village opened earlier this month along the busy Michigan Avenue corridor, one block from Westborn Market, at 21931 Michigan Ave #100.

The new restaurant offers authentic Turkish cuisine, like kebabs, pilafs, stews and börek. It’s all about a real culinary experience, according to co-owner and founder Adel Alasad.

“Opening a Turkish restaurant has been a passion project of ours for years. We have always been captivated by the rich flavors and diverse dishes of Turkish cuisine, and I’m excited to share that with our community. From succulent kebabs to fragrant pilafs and the famous Ozi Kizler Kunafe, our menu promises to delight the senses and transport our guests to the vibrant streets of Istanbul. With warm hospitality and authentic recipes, we aim to create an unforgettable dining experience for everyone who walks through our doors,” Alasad said.

Turkish Village is open Monday-Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., with beverage and kunefe available late-night, until 2 a.m., during Ramadan.
